This workshop will introduce faculty to a series of activities to help position them and their research for external funding. We all have a role in our Run to R1, and positioning yourself for funding is the marathon. It’s an ongoing process and best approached by training for the big event. We will present 52 steps—one you can take each week over the course of the year—to slowly build your profile, team, resources, and relationships. This workshop offers tools for individual faculty—and new investigators, specifically—who are launching their funded research agenda and who want to learn more about available resources and strategies for success.
