Dollars & Sense Presentation: NSF GRFP

Topic Details

Description:

This webinar is for prospective graduate student applicants for the 2025 National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP), for which applications will be due in fall 2024. Find out about the application requirements, including application components, submission requirements, and expected deadlines. Attendees will also be given information about the campus application process, including how to participate in the virtual application boot camp during the summer and how to apply to join our one-on-one advising cohort.

Although attending one of these webinars is highly recommended for all prospective graduate applicants, we understand that you may not be available during the days and times they are offered. Students who do not attend one of the live webinars will be required to watch a recording of the complete presentation and pass a quiz to join the campus application process. If you are unable to attend but are considering applying to the NSF GRFP this fall as part of our one-on-one advising cohort, you must contact us by Wednesday, May 15 at gcexternalfunds@txstate.edu to request access to a recorded version. Students who contact us after that date may utilize the application resources in Canvas available to the group advising cohort but will not be eligible for feedback or one-on-one meetings with The Graduate College's external funding coordinators.

Undergraduate students should contact Cathlin Noonan in The IDEA Center at IDEAFellow@txstate.edu for assistance with their applications to the NSF GRFP.

Please note: Dollars & Sense presentations do not count toward the Shop Talk Certificate of Completion.
