Description:

Learn how to integrate advanced Zoom Room features into your instruction in DLP classrooms. In this class, faculty will learn to use advanced features in Zoom to better engage students in classroom-to-classroom and mixed courses.

This hands-on workshop begins with discussing the advanced features Zoom provides while engaging in interactive activities to bring into the classroom. The workshop ends with a "How-To" session where participants learn how to put these advanced Zoom Room features in motion according to their teaching style.

Attendees must be comfortable using Zoom before taking this class as we will be talking about advanced features such as polling, texting, and screen sharing. This workshop is available on the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses.

Course Requirements:
These workshops will be conducted using Zoom. A Zoom Pro account is available to all faculty, staff, and students. DLP classrooms are equipped with Zoom Room accounts that faculty can use while teaching.
Bring your own device for hands-on experience.

Who should attend:
Faculty teaching in Distance Learning Platform (DLP) Classrooms

Note: This workshop is only open to Faculty, and may be cancelled if fewer than 3 people register.
