Topic Details

Description:

Learn what is GIS using the ArcGIS Pro application. Participants will also learn how to create a map from scratch. ArcGIS Pro is the latest professional desktop GIS from Esri with the capabilities for viewing, exploring, analyzing, editing, and sharing (via the internet) maps and data. An ArcGIS Pro project can contain many maps and layouts as well as tables, charts, and other items. 3D capabilities are native to ArcGIS Pro; any 2D map can be converted to a 3D scene.

This workshop is open to all with no prior knowledge of GIS or those who will like to refreshen their knowledge after a long break from using GIS.

Also, since this session is hybrid (in-person and online), participants who join via online (zoom) are expected to have the required software, ArcGIS Pro, already installed on their computer prior to attending this workshop.
