Quality Matters is a leader in quality assurance for online education and has received national recognition for its peer-based approach to continuous improvement in online education and student learning. Texas State instructors who teach online or hybrid courses are required to complete a professional development program, and these approved Quality Matters workshops are accepted for this requirement. These workshops are open to all Texas State faculty and staff.
Training will occur in JCK 623 on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 and Thursday, January 11, 2018. Seating for each session is limited to 20 participants. If you reserve a seat for one of these workshops and subsequently cancel, please notify the Office of Distance and Extended Learning at distanceed@txstate.edu.
Participants should select one of the two options:
Wednesday, January 10, 2018, Afternoon Workshop, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Improving Your Online Course
Thursday, January 11, 2018, Morning Workshop, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Designing Your Online Course
