Description:

The University Seminar Program is pleased to announce a new format for faculty development and a special keynote speaker, Dr. Catherine Buyarski. Dr. Buyarski is Executive Director of Student Success Initiatives in the Division of Undergraduate Education and Associate Dean for Student Affairs in University College at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She will share her expertise on Grit, Resilience and Perseverance: Helping Students to Thrive. Following Dr. Buyarski’s keynote, US 1100 faculty will have the opportunity to choose from several break-out sessions in a conference-style format.
