Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects people from sex discrimination in educational programs and activities at institutions that receive federal financial assistance. Texas State University is committed to providing an environment free from discrimination on the basis of sex. This workshop will provide an overview of recent changes to the Title IX regulations and related laws as well as provide an interactive discussion forum on the role of faculty in creating a safe learning environment.
