Faculty who are new to the teaching profession or new to Texas State University are invited to participate in this informative and interactive workshop. The goal is to give participants practical advice for teaching at the university level. The workshop will focus on four topics: (1) developing a relevant curriculum for your course, (2) delivering engaging instruction, (3) administering assessments that measure student learning, and (4) creating an effective learning environment. Lunch will be provided. This workshop will be repeated before each spring and fall semester. This workshop will be repeated on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.
