Topic:
Quantitative Research Methods and Statistics Workshop for College of Education Faculty
Description:

During the fall semester, Dr. Jim Van Overschelde will be providing three workshops on quantitative research issues and methodologies and on basic quantitative statistical procedures. The workshops will cover: 1) setting up different types of quantitative research projects; 2) issues of internal and external validity and how to address them with your research design; 3) types of research designs, types of data, and associated statistical methods; and 4) how to interpret results of the analyses. If you are currently doing or considering doing a quantitative research design, then we can discuss the specifics of your design during the second and third workshops. These workshops will be a safe place to re-remember, re-learn, or learn quantitative research methods.
